WAC Sees More Conference Realignment Moves
Despite recent defections by Fresno State and Nevada, the WAC believes more changes are forthcoming with bigger conferences. Prudence dictates that they wait for the fallout to see what schools might be available rather than expanding now.
The Big Ten Conference might yet expand further, for example, after poaching Nebraska from the Big 12 Conference. The Big 12 or the Mountain West might decide to grow, too, which also could help trigger a trickle down to benefit the WAC. To read more, click here.
