Bowling Green Ice Arena Sporting Fresh Look
There's a new look to the BGSU Ice Arena, the Bowling Green Sentinal-Tribune reports. The arena is open again as a $4 million renovation of the 45-year building nears completion.
Among the major highlights of the project include the replacement of the ice-making equipment and improvements to the heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems; new lighting for the main sheet of ice and turning the studio ice into four new locker rooms; making the curling rink a multi-purpose sheet suitable for hockey, figure skating and public skating among other activities.
