Osborne Calls for Eliminating Summer Recruiting Period in Hoops
“The summer recruiting period really plays into the hands of the AAU guys,” Nebraska AD Tom Osborne said. “And so many of them are in league with the shoe companies. That’s where a lot of the unseemly stuff gets going.”
"I sure hope there will be more discussion (on the summer ban)," Osborne said. "There has been an NCAA committee looking at that. "Discussion has flourished throughout college basketball in the 48 hours since Kansas acknowledged a long-term internal ticket problem. To read more, click here.
