Gillette Stadium to Host First College Football Game
UNH will play against the University of Massachusetts on Oct. 23 at Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots. The teams will compete against each at Gillette Stadium for the next two years. This will be the first college football game played at Gillette Stadium.
Among the details worked out was a financial agreement between the Patriots and UNH, where the pro team will cover the college team's operating expenses, such as transportation and accommodations, and any potential economic shortfall UNH might experience by not holding the game at Cowell Stadium.
