Memphis Loses NCAA Appeal
The University of Memphis lost its appeal of NCAA violations under Coach John Calipari. Memphis will be required to forfeit its 38 wins and Final Four appearance from the 2007-08 season.
In a press release the NCAA stated that "the Infractions Appeals Committee found no basis to conclude that the penalty was excessive such that the Committee on Infractions had abused its discretion in imposing the penalty," To read more, click here.
