Schools Always on Guard for Agents
The fear and potential consequences of agents gaining access to and assisting student-athletes requires constant vigilence and preventive efforts by universities according to Ken Tysiac of the Charlotte Observer.
Complimentary ticket lists are checked carefully at some schools to make sure players aren't leaving tickets for sports agents. Some schools film and monitor the tunnel area of their football field and basketball courts before and after games in an effort to make sure agents aren't getting chummy with players.
