Pac-10 Launches Nationwide Marketing Effort
The Pac-10 is launching an effort to raise its profile on a nationwide basis that will hopefully lead to greater interest in the conference and ultimately a TV deal closer to the ones secured by the Big Ten, SEC and ACC according to Ken Belson of The New York Times
On Tuesday, he will unveil a wide-ranging effort to raise the conference’s profile outside the western United States. The marketing blitz will include for the first time interviews on the East Coast with conference coaches, which begin this week, and new logos, television commercials and billboard advertisements promoting the Pac-10 in Times Square and elsewhere.
