NCAA Prohibits Use of Search Firms Connected to Hoops Prospects

The NCAA has imposed a restriction that prohibits firms that are connected to college basketball prospects from being retained as consultants by member institutions according to the Sporting News.

The NCAA saw a conflict of interest in the potential for colleges to pay a fee to a consulting firm, and then for the same colleges to recruit players financed by a member of the same firm, according to the report.  To read more, click here.
