Getting the Numbers Straight: Pac-10 to become Pac 12
The Commissioner of the Pac-10 announced that as the conference expands to 12 members, it will change its name so that it corresponds to the number of members according to James Day of the Statesman-Journal.
The Pac-10 Conference is going away. As soon as Colorado and Utah join the league it will be known as the Pac-12 Conference, it was announced Tuesday. Conference commissioner Larry Scott also unveiled a new logo for the league at a press conference in New York. The media briefing included coaches and players from all of the current 10 schools.
