Army Not Following Navy to the Big East
Navy's move to play football in the Big East will not lure Army away from its independent status, athletic director Boo Corrigan said. Navy AD Chet Gladchuck believes independent games are in jeopardy in the future, while Corrigan does not share that view.
Navy's move leaves Army, Notre Dame and BYU as the lone Football Bowl Subdivision independents.
