UConn Signs with Sports Net New York
In the battle over who delivers the New York television market UConn has struck a blow by signing a three year deal with Sports Net New York. The deal promises to deliver over 300 hours of UConn sports coverage including football and basketball games.
The deal, according to SNY officials, will give UConn games the potential to be seen by nearly 9 million households in the tri-state area and more than 12 million nationwide. UConn's local television rights had been awarded to WTNH and its sister station MyTV9 in recent years, whose reach extends basically to the state's borders. To read more, click here.
