UAB Looking to Build On Campus Football Stadium
The Birmingham Business Journal is reporting that UAB officials are eyeing two locations near Interstate 65 for a stadium that would hold up to 40,000 fans. The Blazers currently play at Legion Field, which seats 70,000.
UAB ended the 2009 football season 5-7 and hasn’t played in a bowl game since 2004. To read more, click here.
