Big 12 Names Championships Manager
Maria Huggins has been named Championships Manager for the Big 12 Conference, Commissioner Dan Beebe announced. She joins the staff after serving as Event Manager at the St. Louis Sports Commission.
In her new role at the Big 12, Huggins will coordinate services for regular-season and championship administration for 19 Olympic sports and work with various coaches groups on a daily basis. She will oversee the conference’s awards and signage programs and work on site at selected championship events, including duties as assistant championship director for the Phillips 66 Big 12 Women’s Basketball Championship.
