Men’s and Women’s Assistant Track and Field/Cross Country Coach - Virginia Military Institute
In addition to managing and preparing the men’s and women’s cross country teams, and working with the distance groups throughout the track season, the coach will be required to handle administrative responsibilities associated with program operations; including recruiting, home meet management, equipment ordering, as well as other duties assigned by the Director of Track and Field/Cross Country.
Bachelor’s degree, previous coaching experience, as well as a working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations and the ability to recruit under selective academic standards is also required. General computer skills, solid administrative skills and excellent communication skills are required. The coach will possess exceptional leadership and strong organizational skills and the ability to represent the philosophy and educational goals of Virginia Military Institute.
