Coordinator of Game Day Productions-Central Michigan University
Job responsibilities are: Assist in planning and executing game day video board scripts; pre-produce game day content for video boards; direct video staff for live event productions; responsibility for all phases of the game day experience related to video boards, including stats and timing interface; maintain in-house video feeds and adapt to changing environment; engineer and trouble-shoot all video operations equipment; responsible for creating work orders and follow thru with Daktronics on equipment maintenance; work closely with and serve as a backup to the Coordinator of Multimedia.
Required: Bachelor’s degree in broadcasting, digital media, or related field; 1 year experience in live sports videoboard production; experience in collegiate athletics or professional sports; experience with Daktronics equipment; submit demo of work, including application of treatments to multiple size displays. Successful applicant will display editing skills and graphical capabilities. Candidate must be deadline-oriented, have solid communication skills, and work well under pressure.
Preferred: working knowledge of intercollegiate athletics and sports photography. Screening of candidates will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
